Privacy Policy
Sourdough Timeline is designed to work without an account. Bake plans are stored on your device. We do not sell personal data, show third-party advertising, or track you across other companies' apps or websites.
1. Who we are
Kettlefern is the product brand used by the developer identified as the seller on the Sourdough Timeline App Store page. This policy explains how that developer ("Kettlefern," "we," "us," or "our") handles information in Sourdough Timeline, its support channels, and its public website.
2. Information and how it is handled

3. Local app data
Plan names, target dates, formula values, and generated schedules are stored in the app's local container on your iPhone. You can delete an individual plan in the app. Deleting the app removes its local data, subject to iOS backup behavior controlled by your Apple settings.
If Kettlefern later introduces iCloud or another synchronization option, the app and this policy will be updated before that feature is enabled.
4. Subscriptions and RevenueCat
We use RevenueCat as a service provider for subscription infrastructure. RevenueCat may process a randomly generated, anonymous App User ID; product identifiers; purchase and subscription history; transaction or receipt information; entitlement status; and limited technical information such as app version, device type, operating system, locale, currency, and IP address.
We use this information to provide Pro features, restore purchases, prevent subscription errors, support customers, and understand subscription performance. We do not use it for third-party advertising or cross-app tracking. See RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.
5. Apple payments
Apple processes App Store payments and manages your Apple Account billing information. Kettlefern and RevenueCat do not receive your full payment-card details. Apple's handling of information is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
6. Optional backend and feedback
The app may contact a Cloudflare-hosted service to retrieve public configuration and recipe templates. When you voluntarily submit feedback, we may receive the message, app version, locale, and submission time. Cloudflare may also process standard network and security information needed to deliver and protect the service. See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.
We retain feedback and support correspondence only as long as reasonably needed to respond, maintain the service, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations.
7. Why we process information
Where data-protection law requires a legal basis, we process information as necessary to provide the app and subscriptions you request, to pursue legitimate interests such as security and service improvement, to comply with law, or with your consent when you voluntarily contact us.
8. Sharing
We share information only with service providers described in this policy, when necessary to complete a transaction or provide support, when required by law, or to protect users and the service. We do not sell or rent personal data.
9. International processing
Apple, RevenueCat, Cloudflare, and their subprocessors may process information in countries other than yours. Where required, they and Kettlefern rely on recognized transfer mechanisms and contractual safeguards.
10. Your choices and rights
- Delete local plans in the app or delete the app to remove its local container.
- Manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple Account subscription settings.
- Use Restore Purchases in the app to recover an eligible purchase.
- Ask us to access, correct, or delete feedback or support information associated with you, subject to applicable law and verification.
- Depending on your location, object to or restrict processing, withdraw consent, request portability, or complain to your local data-protection authority.
11. Children
Sourdough Timeline is a general-audience baking utility and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. A parent or guardian who believes a child sent us personal information may contact us to request deletion.
12. Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, minimize collection, and rely on established service providers. No storage or transmission method is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the app, providers, or legal requirements change. We will revise the effective date and provide additional notice when required.
